Quick description: Handsome black and white Smudge is lying on his back on a rug-covered floor, near some furniture. All four paws are in the air and his tail is extended outwards.
Quick description: Two white gulls are on top of a red brick chimney high on a sloped roof with wavy shingles.
Quick description: Handsome black and white Smudge is lying comfortably on his back on a brown carpeted floor.
Quick description: Tabby queen Tabbs is standing with her forefeet on the brown mat just outside a red front door. The wall is red brick and the tiles under the mat are terracotta. Tabbs is looking off to the side, but her tail is curled up over her back and down her side, and she’s clearly waiting.
Quick description: Mostly what we see is green: tall grass in the foreground, bushy and shrubby growth blending towards trees, and in the centre, a pile of cut wood and branches. Perched on a tree stump right in the centre is tabby Tabbs, sitting regally up straight to survey her domain and perhaps watching something of interest off to our right, while practically invisible.
Quick description: A Eurasian red squirrel (called Belinda by the photographer) is sitting on a mossy tree stump or log, weight on hind legs and forefeet up in the classic squirrel resting pose. That very fluffy red tail is in a gentle curve. Since this squirrel is in a place people come to photograph the thriving red squirrels and this photograher is there often, she’s probably hoping some human is about to hand over nuts.
