Maryh said, rijinlolly inna comment: Sheila Na Gig, named for an *ahem* very rude Celtic Goddess, is proud of herself and of her name. I always let my cats tell me their names. First I knew it was Irish so I guessed things like Bridget or Fionna. Finally she got tired of my denseness and said very clearly in my mind “SHEILA!!! NA!!! GIG!!!” As one of two kittens awaiting homes at the feed store she stole my heart. My feed store owner said, “Don’t pick up the black one! It bites!” So I picked her up. She clung against me and was my kitten.

s1f said, in rijinlol post comments: They’ve been gone a while but it seems like yesterday that they were dropping bedding, lab blocks and paper towels over the edge of their play area just to watch them fall. They were mischievious little boys, I miss them.
