Description: A caracal is enjoying a sunny day and the warm beams on its brown coat. Its hind feet are planted solidly on a cut tree-stump, its tail hanging down the far side. Next to the stump is a pile of rocks, and the caracal’s forepaws are just as solidly resting on them, which means that the body is horizontal. (It’s actually reminiscent of beautiful Kiriko.)

Description: A caracal mom, with her awesome big ears with their black tufts on the tips, is lying on her side casually, her head resting against a cement wall in what is presumably a zoo.  Lying next to her against the wall, head twisted upside-down, is her half-grown kitten. Mom is licking her kitten’s muzzle with a pink tongue. Both look comfortable and healthy, their soft light-brown fur and paler bellies clean and smooth.

Description: A long-legged, long-bodied, sleek brown caracal, tufted black ears and eyes all focused on some point off to the right, is leaving a rock nearly the same colour as its fur. The fact that the height of the rock is considerably greater than the height of the cat is, of course, irrelevant. Hind feet are still firmly planted, supporting the entire body at the moment in a partial crouch. Left forepaw is braced solidly against the edge of the rock, just where it turns from mostly-horizontal to steeply-vertical, and the right forepaw is extended in preparation for that final committed step to the ground.
